"I discovered We are Worldschoolers while preparing to leave on our big adventure around the world with our tween. At home it was easy to feel like we were the only family doing something like this. I had no idea there were so many families out there that were enjoying the educational and experiential benefits of travel. This wonderful community of travel minded families has been such a fantastic resource for both information and support. We’ve made lifelong friendships through this community and learned so much. We are so grateful for the work that Lainie, Miro, and all of the moderators, and contributors have put into this wonderful virtual home away from home that is We are Worldschoolers!"

"We have spent almost 30 years attachment parenting, unschooling, and traveling the world. When we are in our primary home-base in the US we have found some lovely like-minded friends who also homeschool but who look at us strangely when we talk about our travels. As expats and travelers, we have met amazing people who live like that as well but who look at us strangely when we talk about unschooling. And then a few years ago I ran across this blog by Lainie Liberti and her son who were exploring and learning the same way we were. Wow was that exciting. We went to the first Family Summit in Mexico and met a bunch of other people who were also traveling and learning and doing this thing called Worldschooling. Suddenly our crowd didn’t look at us strangely with the travel talk OR the unschooling talk. We had found our group. We were “home” in the world.

"Back when traveling the world with our kids was a distant dream, I stumbled on the We Are Worldschoolers community. What a priceless discovery! It was through the We Are Worldschoolers Facebook community that we found a wealth of resources, support and inspiration to become fulltime travelers and worldschoolers. We began our adventure in August 2019, and planned our travels to attend the amazing Project Worldschool Family Summit in Granada, Spain. There we connected with so many other families that were up to what we were, built friendships – and found courage to work through fears, discomforts and see all the possibilities of what this new life could look like for our family. I’m moved to tears thinking about how grateful I am for Lainie and Miro and their endless generosity to share this way of living with others. Recently, during the pandemic, I have turned to the community and its resources even more. Weekly check-ins and Facebook live interviews have provided valuable information, and true community. I am most grateful for the We Are Worldschoolers Women’s Circle, where I have found deep connection and support from moms all over the world. Such a beautiful community that I am deeply grateful to be a part of!"

"Every once in a blue moon you stumble into a community that you immediately knew you needed to be in. I know I can come here to find like-minded tribe when I need a doctor, a travel agent, a business coach, an educator, some laughs, inspiration, and shoulders to lean on. I know I can engage in deep discussions that nobody else in my life could even wrap their heads around. I am grateful to be able to share experiences and reflect others experiences. Laine, Miro, thank you so very much for opening your lives to us, you have touched people in ways you will never, ever know."

"I always traveled with my son. I just didn't know how to go farther, longer, and more often. That I learned in this group! I went from 1-2 "vacations" a year to "travel lifestyle" 1/4 of the time!"

"My husband and I had been nomadic our entire marriage. We both came from non-supportive families, and dreamt of seeing the world. Our kids were born along the way. With each new addition to our little tribe, we felt the isolation more greatly. No extended family for our little ones, no support. Only snide remarks from our parents.
Then we found the worldschooling community, and discovered that We Are Worldschoolers! We had been all along, but now we had support. Now we were not alone.
The relief, acceptance, and inspiration I have found in this community is indescribable. Our family has found connection, and met with other worldschoolers across the globe. If you ever meet me in person, don't hesitate to reach out for help, advise or just a cup of coffee. After all, we are not strangers. We are family. We Are Worldschoolers!"

"When my son and I first started out on the path of 3/4 time travel, we had no idea there was such an amazing community. We started out with a Project World School Fall Summit and it was the best way to start our journey - so many experienced families who have been a great source of information and support throughout the past year.
I have joined a World Schooling Women's Circle that I attend weekly - it's so amazing to be able to talk to women each week who understand the highs and lows of the travel lifestyle...we talk about so much more than "this" lifestyle but there's always that underlying theme...even outside of the Circle, I know in my heart I could call on any one of those women for support.
My son joined both the kids World School meet-up and the Tween Weekly meet up. He's at that in between stage and fits nicely into both age groups. It's been an amazing experience for him to participate in weekly games with kids from all over the world. He's learned from all of those kids about their home lands and the places where they are currently visiting or living. I believe that he will continue to keep in touch with some of those kids during his lifetime.
So much community, so much support...It's been an amazing journey that would have been more of a struggle if I'd thought I was all alone and breaking new ground.
One last note: None of this would be or could be possible if not for Lainie Liberti and Miro Siegel and their groundbreaking journey that began 11 years ago...a heartfelt THANK YOU to both of them for putting this group together and supporting each of us as we make tracks across the globe."

"We have a blog that I'm happy to have featured! I don't know if we would've done this without the support of pioneers like you, Lainie Liberti! Our blog not a moneymaking thing for us, just happy to spead the word on what you and others leading this movement have inspired. www.tesseractworldschool.com"

"Meeting this community was one of the biggest “success story” of my growth as a parent... Feeling part of the community during the summit and later also through the woman's circle made me feel part of a big family, where I can be myself and where I don’t need to be afraid of being judged for my choices... for being authentic...for being who I’m...made me feel stronger and accepted...which is not a small matter or an obvious one..."
